What it does

  • Naddouf: an Arabic café-cleaning and management game for families that works offline. Live on Google Play.
  • Madaen Bank: a 3D board game set in Arab cities, using murabaha, interest-free loans and zakat instead of an interest-charging bank. Live on Google Play in 178 countries.
  • Haratna: a 3D building game for an old Arab neighbourhood, with smart blocks that shape themselves into arches, domes and stairs. In development.
  • ArabDM: an Arabic download manager for Windows with a browser extension, parallel downloading and resume.

Engineering decisions

Choosing the engine by test, not opinion

We ran Unity and Godot side by side on the same phone, wrote up the results, and picked the engine that looks best to players for each kind of game.

Arabic first, made for families

Arabic interfaces, voices and content from day one, with no intrusive ads, no sign-up, and offline play.

Quality backed by tests

Madaen Bank alone has 337 automated tests covering game rules and transactions.
